Congressman Mike Haridopolos would like to schedule a brief call with Secretary Duffy to discuss a grant request submitted to DOT from the City of Cocoa, and the Space Coast Transportation Planning Organization, in support of a new multi-modal passenger hub in Florida's Eighth Congressional District for the Brightline train. The total cost of the project is $81 million and the grant request to DOT is for $47.2 million.
Please let us know when Secretary Duffy may have availability today or early next week for a phone call with the congressman.
