Kristofferson Department of Psychology Date November 2, I960 In August of this year Dr William Dember and I submitted a proposal for research on the behavioral effects of organic lead compounds to your laboratory. Our interest in this tpic was aroused when Dr. Stevens called us in to observe certain extreme behavioral changes in some of his animals* We donducted a small pilot study during the summer and, after discussing the results along with plans for further research with Drs, Stevens, Cass and Brust, formulated the proposal at their urging. To date no action has been taken on the proposal* I have been informed that Dr. Brust has left Kettering Lab and that there have been other changes in the process of which the proposal may have become lost or misdirected. To cover such a possibility, I enclose another copy of the proposal and would like to add that we are still interested in pursuing it. K F 0003433
