Gelling Agents
For Organic Systems
Bentons 18-C For polar systems. Es pecially useful where pig ment suspension is de sired without strong thick ening action as in the case of aerosol paints.
Bentone 27 Bodies high polarity sol vents such as diethylene glycol, ethyl acetate, methyl ethyl ketone and other lacquer solvents. Recommended for epoxy, polyester, lacquer and vinyl systems.
Benton* 34 Will thicken and gel straight non-polar solvents such as benzene, toluene, mineral spirits and naph tha, as well as liquids of intermediate polarity such
as vegetable oils, plasti cizers, alkyds and other resins. Bentone 38 Will efficiently thicken and gel solvents of both the intermediate and non-polar types, as well as mixtures of low polarity organic liquids with ketones, alco hols and low molecular weight esters.
Bentone Tl-N Suspending agent for use in organic systems. Pre vents hard settling of pig ments in solvent base paint without producing a significant increase in viscosity.
Composition: Bentone Gellants are or ganic derivatives of hy drous silicate minerals. -
