AVIA's mission is to advocate for the safe and timely deployment of autonomous driving technology. We are the unified voice of the diverse companies working toward a world where safe and trusted AVs increase road safety, boost supply chains, and improve mobility opportunities for all. Our members are the leading companies in autonomy, technology, ridesharing, and freight movement. The meeting on May 20 would include several CEOs and other senior executives of leading autonomous vehicle companies. The meeting participants and our broader membership have come together on a forward leaning proposal called SecurinE American Leadership in Autonomous Vehicles, which lays out several key areas for the Department of Transportation to advance safety, economic growth, and supply chain resiliency in the United States. AVIA is committed to working collaboratively with the Department of Transportation to ensure the U.S. transportation system is safe, efficient, and supports economic growth and public safety.
