Henry, III, have prepared on your work to determine whether the depression of ALAD following exposure to lead is an "in vivo" or an "in vitro" phenomena. I think the paper is excellent. I agree that the changes penciled in are an improve ment, and would have no further suggestions to offer. I see nothing which could be lifted from the text and used by those who might wish to show detrimental effects of exposure to low levels of lead. I would hope that this report can be published in the near future. ALAD and the question of whether it represents an "in vivo" or "in vitro" phenomena were the subject of much discussion at the recent Symposium on Environmental Lead in Amsterdam.
