Thanks for getting back to me. It's my understanding that EPA is providing waivers to the Puerto Rico Electric Power Authority (PREPA) because they don't have the capital to make upgrades to bring themselves in line with emissions standards. Does that sound familiar? Thanks again.

Hey Rob,
There are a couple folks working on Puerto Rico. It depends on the issue. For example, they have some significant water quality problems and our water expert is spearheading those efforts. Ultimately, we must work with Region 2 (New York) as they have jurisdiction over the PR issues, but I'm happy to first connect you with the most relevant political to get things started.
What is the specific issue?
Best, Mandy

1. I spoke with your brother's company (David) and will follow-up with them once we're in OXMS.
2. Lots of issues going on with Puerto Rico right now and I believe EPA is involved with some of them. Do you have a colleague who has been designated to work on the Island's issues? Or is that a Region matter?
Thanks!
