August 6, 1933. *-- ---X V iS iii l t e p - *>> %-a Mr, E, W* Webb, Ethyl Gasoline Corp#, Chrysler Bldg., New York, N. Y. Dear Mr# Webbs ** . Thank you for your letter of August 3. I am enclosing a brief resume of the work done on furfural alcohol, in which I have incorporated the main results only as I assume you would not be particularly interest ed in details# For the next four weeks my address will be Patton, Maine, in care of Mr* William Hall# While I feel sure that any Illness which may arise in men with furfural alcohol exposure will be entirely free from any question as to the exposure being causative or contribu tory, I nevertheless would be anxious to see such men should such-a question arise# I am referring particular ly to the type of case which we have experienced with J Ethyl Gasoline exposure, where attention is directed to exposure whether there is sufficient reason or not# I will ask then that I be notified should such a case arise, and I shall be store than glad to visit the indi vidual# SUch a case could be visited by some one else from the laboratory, but Y am sufficiently interested to prefer to see it myself# i The work will proceed in my absence, and I now anticipate a rather early conclusion after my return. \ Sincerely yours, LWS:EJ ~ tfg 0001194
