At the recommendation of Ed Chu in Region 7 and following up on the Administrator's meeting with the Iowa Governor last week, I am planning on going to DeMoines right after Labor Day to meet with the Secretary/Director of DNR on the andti degredation rules. The staff believes that we can make some real progress if we can elevate the discussion to the political level. Do either of you care to join me for the discussion or do you have any concerns with my going?
