Today, the News Service of Florida incorrectly characterized Governor Scott's clear and vocal support of the federal Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP). Governor Scott has been extremely vocal on this issue, including funding this in his budget which was press released to the media and public. Please see the below statement regarding CHIP:
"Governor Scott has been supportive of this program and expects the federal government to extend it in order to help low income kids.
