Klopp of October 9, certain comments should be made pertaining to the following: Item 6 - VCM Tank Farm: This project consisting of the installation of liquid level gauges will be in compliance on October 21. However, mechanical work on all vessels will not be completed. Compliance is being achieved because we were able to complete the displacement of monomer from the final storage tank before the deadline. Item 8 - Compressor Seals: As of October 17 ducting required to vent the seal enclosures to the Incinerator has not been installed. The plant's Maintenance Department does not have sufficient manpower to make the outstanding tie-in; therefore, either Maintenance or Engineering will be required to go to an out side contractor. We are attempting to have this final installation completed on an OT basis. Item 9 - Suspension Reactor Opening and Slurry Stripping: Comments concerning line blinds are not relevant to the compliance project since these components are required for safety purposes only. Manufac turing had an opportunity to review installation schematics and did not note any equipment short falls (specifically line blinds were not on the drawings).
