Dear Representative Newton:
Thank you for your letter of April 13. 2017. to U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Scott Pruitt on behalf of your constituent, Mr. Wilson, who is seeking assistance on his clean burning ilare pipe technology.
We appreciate you taking the time to pass on the information and it has been shared with our technical staff. While the EPA writes rules that regulate flares and the industries that use them, the EPA does not make recommendations on specific control technology vendors so as not to advantage one over another.
Again, thank you for your letter. I appreciate the opportunity to be of service and trust the information provided has been helpful.
Sincerely.
Sarah Dunham Acting Assistant Administrator
