Mesa El Paso TX 79912 Dear Mr. Burton, On approximately July 12tb, 2000 WestVac employees Ben Reyes and Celso Garcia were involved in tearing down a pipe rack located at the old Sulfur Pilot plant. While in the process of tearing down the rack, insulation was found, removed, and bagged. On July 20,h, a sample was collected and sent in for asbestos analysis. The material was found to contain 25-30% chrysotile. The pipe rack was not known to contain ACM (Asbestos Containing Material). The El Paso Plant strives to meet OSHA 29 CFR 1926.1101 asbestos regulations.
