Thanks, Robert.
My basic questions would be:
What is creosote, and what is it used for?
How common is creosote contamination?
What are some of the possible effects of creosote exposure?
For background information, we're working on a special project taking a look at the Kerr-McGee superfund site in Columbus, MS, which is heavily contaminated with creosote. This piece is part of that project, and is to explain what creosote is for our readers. On Mon, May 21, 2018 at 3:49 PM, Daguillard, Robert <Daguillard.Robert(S>epa.gov> wrote:

"Hey my name is Alex Holloway, I'm a reporter with the Commercial Dispatch in Columbus, Mississippi. I'm working on this story that involves kind of explaining creosotes, that sort of thing. I'm trying to see if there's anyone with the EPA who might be an expert or anything on creosote, or someone who could speak towards why creosote is dangerous and what it is, and the effects it has on people. If you get this, I can be reached back at my cellphone which is[ Ex. 6 Ex. 6 lean also be reached at my email address which is aholloway@cdispatch.com. Thanks, bye."
