LKaebhooera,toMry.D- ., Director University of Cincinnati Eden Avenue Cincinnati 19, Ohio Dear Bob: Thank you very much for your delightfully proliferative and most interesting letter of October 21st. The attitudes expressed in your postscripts strike me as wholly reasonable and in no way ''snooty, " and the only reason that I wrote as I did to Frank was that he had given the cost of publication as the reason for not making the proceedings available in printed form. While I do think that, carefully edited, much benefit could derive from a judicious distribution of the proceedings, the only paper that I nowhave a particular eye on is that of Jim Hammond, and I assume that you would have no objection to his letting me have a copy if he himself if willing. I had not known that your Laboratory does the pathology and toxicology for the Hamilton County Coroner and amsimply delighted to hear it. I have had an amusing time over that request of Lloyd Hamlin's and will tell you something of it when I see you.
