For a variety of reasons I should like to have this article appear in th Journal of Industrial Hygiene If it suits the purposes of that Journal, and if you can find a place for it, Nothing has been written on this subject for a number of years and since we are the only people who are following It, but more especially sines moist of the experimental aspects of the subject have reached their final stage, I foel that the time Is ripe for a full presentation of the matter, X wished to make th article briefer but 1 have not seen any way to shorten the presentation of th data to any greater extent than 1 have dons. Therefor there are a large number of tables, so many in fact that 1 have a natural skepticism as to their publication without deletion, I trust you will understand that I do. hot wish in any way to make suggestion with regard to your editorial policy* On the other hand X fool so keenly the necessity for publishing th full sot of tables, that I should be very glad to defray a portion of the expense of thoir publication if It should develop that expense is the only obstacle to your use of them. The data which.will be used in the preparation of the second article is very near completion and al though you will not be interested In it "sight unseen", you will no doubt appreciate my wish to have both articles appear in th same Journal.
