Minutes The minutes of the April 18, 1990, meeting were approved as corrected to reflect Committee approval of $22,500 to develop a communications software package for CAER Code implementation resources. Lockhart requested approval to spend $5,000 to cover travel expenses for a CMA observer to attend the June 1990 International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) Monograph meetings. The Committee approved the expenditure. 4. EPA/OTS J, LeBeau updated the Committee on EPA's TSCA regulatory initiative for existing chemical testing and control. EPA is conducting a third party survey of nine company's product stewardship programs. The Committee identified the need to continue educating EPA on the Responsible Care Initiative and the developing product stewardship management code. In the testing area, J. LeBeau suggested the use of a single international existing chemicals list for prioritizing data needs. Members of the Health and Safety Committee will continue discussing EPA's regulatory initiatives via conference call with Charles Elkins, OTS Director, on May 14, 1990. 5. Sponsor Reports W. Dyste recommended the Committee appoint Jim Hinton, Dow as the CAER Task Group chairman, replacing Tom Marriott. The Committee approved the appointment. 6. R.
