Sanborn visited the Chris Pillers oil and gas facility located at latitude 36.311187 and longitude -96.996225 near Sperry, Oklahoma on 10/08/2019 for an unannounced inspection. There were no representatives of Chris Pillers present for the inspection. The inspection was conducted by authority of the Clean Water Act and the Safe Drinking Water Act to determine compliance with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations. FACILITY DESCRIPTION This facility is known as the Mattie Evans Lease. Section II - OBSERVATIONS I observed no secondary containment and overgrown vegetation around the tank battery. The salt water pump was leaking during the inspection. The facility did not have an identification sign. Section III - AREAS OF CONCERN The facility did not have a sign. There were no secondary containment berms. There was overgrown vegetation around the tank battery. Section IV - FOLLOW UP EPA water enforcement will refer this facility to EPA SPCC program.
