Dear Mr. Stueben.; The information you sent me concerning work histories of Air Products personnel involved in the recent vinyl chloride mishaps at the Escambia plant arrived a few days ago. I have sent that, the earlier information you provided me during my visit, and a brief narrative of.the sequence of events to Robert Ligo, M.D. , Senior Medical Officer of the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health. Dr. Ligo will analyze the data and determine what long-term follow-up, if any, of affected individuals might be desirable from the standpoint of the Institute. I wish to especially thank you for your courtesy during my visit, and to express my appreciation for the time and effort you and other Air Products personnel gave in preparing this information for us.
