The event provides the perfect setting to celebrate the Administration's trade fairness and energy dominance agenda. Of course, Sila's $100 DOE MESC grant and early ARPA-E funding are instrumental to the project's success. As you know, Sila Nano is the global leader in silicon anode battery innovation. The facility will be the first mass-scale domestic Si/C manufacturing plant, built to leapfrog China's chokehold on global anode battery supply. The project is on schedule, on budget, a linchpin of regional manufacturing revitalization in the Northwest, and it epitomizes US capability to out-compete China through American innovation and grit. We're working to determine a date for our Start of Operations ceremony at our Moses Lake, WA plant that may align with Secretary Wright's availability to attend. We are eager and prepared to host the Secretary and his team anytime be happens to be in Washington State. A number of our commercial partners, investors, and customers are planning to attend, but the Secretary and his team along with Congressman Newhouse are our top priorities as we select the date for the event. Could you suggest a timeframe that could work for the Secretary to attend, or connect us with his Sierra Club v. Dept of Energy, 4:25-cv-5027 SC_EVERSPLIT0027560 scheduling team? One option from Congressman Newhouse is to select a date over the September or October recess period, likely 9/23 or 10/ 1, that may also work for DOE leadership to attend the event. However, he mentioned the Secretary will likely be in Central Washington for another event in early September after labor day (date TBD), therefore, potentially less likely to return to the area so soon. The project represents US innovation leapfrogging China's stranglehold over a market central to national security. We also meet all criteria for federal tax credits under the One Big Beautiful Bill (no Chinese involvement whatsoever). We remain on track to commence mass production in Central Washington by year's end and are keen to have DOE and administration leadership participate in celebrating our plant's start-up. Sila is an industry leader, already in the consumer electronics market, and in many ways a DOE success story: we are grateful for early ARPA-E funding for our early research spun out of Georgia Tech, as well as our $100 million MESC grant which will allow us to scale at a pace that retains ow leadership position and facilitates larger contracts and revenue generation. We have strong backers and are well-positioned to supply the global transition from graphite to silicon anodes that is already occurring in the consumer electronics market.
