RE:
. ... . ___ Sherwin Williams Claim No.: D/A: 122/06/85
REDACTED
v. Contract Transportation/
and INA/Aetna Insurance Co.
Dear Tony:
a
w I have just received Judge Speed's Award dated July H 24, 1986. As I had feared. Judge Speed found that *2 stroke of December 6, 1985 is compensable under the Georgia a Workers' Compensation Act. Specifically, Judge Speed found that
exertion in the course of his work duties aggravated the claimant's pjj pre-existing condition and, as such, is compensable under the
Georgia case law.
I would recommend that we appeal this decision to the Full Board. While appeals to the Full Board seldomly result in a reversal, this action may put us in a better posture for settlement. Please give me a call at your convenience so that we might discuss whether or not we want to pursue an appeal. If you have any questions regarding this or any other claim, please do not hesitate to call me.
Very truly yours.
