Dear Dr. Lynch:
You will be interested to learn that we plan to hold a Saranac Symposium on industrial pulmonary diseases during the five days from September 29th to October 3d.
The question has arisen whether a paper by you, based on the asbestosi3 report, could be suitably in cluded in the Symposium. The asbestos interests quite rightly feel that* this should only be done if your work lias been completed early enough to permit adequate consideration of your report well in advance of the proposed'delivery, and I would greatly appreciate your giving us your thoughts on this.
Please understand that this is a wholly tentative proposal, since the agenda of the Symposium have by no means been worked out.
