J. Sanders R. V. Sharp Items discussed: 1. Five-minute escape masks. Information developed by the 1984 SHAC Committee will be reviewed and a proposed policy sent to SAC for their review. 2. Display sign for plant days-away-from-work injury target. Signs are presently under construction and should be completed around March 20. 3. First Quarter Safety and Housekeeping Inspection awards. The awards to the winners of the First Quarter Housekeeping Inspection will be passed out on March 22. Schedule: Carpenters - 8:00 Power 2 - 8:20 CED Warehouse - 8:40 4. Operator safety program. Discussion was held on the possibility of having a plantwide safety meeting for operators on each shift. One idea for this type of safety meeting would be personnel from the Citizens Against Crime group conducting meetings on crime prevention or fire prevention. Bob Hammann will check into the feasibility of using this group. Necessary approvals will then be obtained. 5. SHAC goals. The goals were revised to include major goals on job safety audits and contractor safety. 6. Weekly safety slogan winner.
