Attached are area summaries, summaries of excursions above 1, 5, 25 and 100 ppm VCM and a listing of all excursions observed at or above 100 ppm VCM. Also included is a graph showing the weekly percentage of readings exceeding 1 and 5 ppm VCM for the Reactor Building. The graph will be updated weekly and attached to all future reports. Monitoring points RE #9 and RE #20 remained in special service during this report period.
The plant was in operation 5 1/2 days for this report period running at about 777, utilization. The following summaries are taken from a tabulation of 25% of the data or one set of readings per hour.
The Reactor Building showed 395 readings > 1 ppm, 12 excursions > 25 ppm and 2 readings > 100 ppm.
The Pilot Plant showed 356 readings > 1 ppm, 8 excursions > 25 ppm and no readings > 100 ppm.
The General Area showed 69 readings > 1 ppm, 2 excursions > 25 ppm and no readings > 100 ppm.
The Lift Station showed 94 readings > 1 ppm, 9 excursions > 25 ppm and 1 reading > 100 ppm.
The Parshall Flume showed 54 readings > 1 ppm, 1 excursion > 25 ppm and no readings > 100 ppm.
All readings greater than or equal to 100 ppm are tabulated in Table IV. Nine readings at or above 100 ppm occurred during this report period reflecting six separate incidents. Three incidents occurred in the Reactor Building affecting both stripper platforms and the center aisle, first and second floors. One incident occurred in the Pilot Plant at "E" reactor while the remaining two incidents occurred at the Lift Station. There were no incidents in the General Area this report period.
