o JAPALAC ALKYD GLOSS ENAMEL DESCRIPTION An exceptionally fine quality, durable enamel for interior-exterior use; may be brushed, rolled or sprayed on furniture, kitchen and bathroom walls, woodwork, porch and lawn furniture, wrought iron, window shutters, picture and mirror frames and wickerwork, or whenever a high' glossy finish is desired. A wide range of attractive colors, including Aluminum, Gold and Coppertone, in non-clog nozzle spray cans for handy, instant spraying of intricate objects, acces sories, toys or other hard-to-paint surfaces. One coat is usually enough to cover when brushed on wall areas, woodwork and furniture, Resists stains, water, moisture, dirt, scuffing, weathering. Washable, tile-like, tough, long-lasting finish. TIPS ON APPLICATION Prepare surface before enameling. For best results always make sure it is dry and free from dirt, grease, rust, cracked paint and other foreign matter. Repair cracks in piaster and wood with Glidden Spred Patch. Smooth all rough edges by sanding. If a glossy surface is to be painted, sand lightly or treat it with Glidden Surfocene to improve adhesion of Japalac. Apply Japalac in a full, generous coat. Brush from the unpainted into the freshly painted area. When spraying Japalac, apply a mist coat followed by a full wet coat. Remove spatters while the paint is still wet by wiping with a cloth dampened with paint thinner. To ensure best results always follow directions on the Japalac label.
