Hellmuth (Chairman), Banash and past President Soott, will be announced soon. The latest resignation has come from Mr. Fettibone this morning. Meantime I have gone through all of the formalities of notify ing Mr. Hoyt, of the American Poundrymen's Association, of our committee resolution and I a m advised by Mr. Hoyt that the six foundry associations will appoint representatives to be formed into a Steering Committee, and then a committee of three will prepare reasonably soon their oomments on the Technical Commit tee* s report. Mr. Hoyt told me also that the sand people will not be represented on this committee "because they have had their day in court." Mr. Hoyt will look after the interests of the foundry people and foous attention on their promises to the Coun oil, and I shall make sure that our reviewing oommittee are kept informed of progress and receive the oomments as they eome in. I shall, of course, keep you closely informed on events as they transpire.
