This first is our best educated guess of the number of copies needed. The number will be appropriately increased in the next distribution.

In-Plant Traffic Problems
This item has been continued from the previous meeting. At the July 15 meeting the committee reviewed a recommendation by E. R. Albritton and established the following statement of intent:
OBJECTIVE: Reduction of Potential hazards to people and equipment from traffic in the plant.
Sub-Objectives included as a part of the above statement: - Reduced volume of vehicle traffic Established understanding of rules and procedures for traffic Improved condition of roads and vehicles
ACTIONS: (During meeting of July 23)
Defined need for additional information about the In-Plant Traffic problem and made assignments as follows:
Assignments: 1.
Determine number of vehicles in the plant per day by categories or by contractor, a) now, b) projected future requirement, c) minimum number required -- L. Schwab will report by August 6.

2. Review P-Bulletin P-0700 for Authorizations for Vehicle Entry -- J. L. Rasmussen will report by August 6.
3. Review of what is required to establish this as a "Pedestrian Plant" with corresponding rules, procedures, and methods of handling violations -- J. F. Carlisle will report by August 6.
4. Provide procedures for handling unusual transport (large vessels, heavy loads, etc.) -- J. M. Gatewood will report by August 6.
Subject:
1975 Annual Plant Housekeeping Inspection
Plans are now being developed to prepare for this year's Annual Inspection. The date of the inspection is not known at this time, but is expected to be around early October.
OBTECTIVE: Entire plant in EXCELLENT condition when the inspection team arrives.
ACTIONS: Reviewed assignment of preparation responsibilities of members of this committee and made the following assignment:
Assignment: All supervisors initiate requests relating to the Inspection for such things as painting, items requiring fabrication, and longer-term purchased items. -- WHEN: NOW
Subject: Office Safety Film
OBTECTIVE: Increased safety awareness of office workers.
ACTION: Directed Safety Department to obtain an office safety film and schedule showings as soon as possible -- to provide one of the quarterly safety meetings for this group.
Assignment: J. A.Glass -- Target Date - August 15.
