Mr* I* Dent Jenkins Harrison Radiator Division General Motors Corporation Lockport, Hew York
Dear Mr* Jenkinsj
I send you herewith two copies of my report on your plant as completed up to date* As X told you a few days ago# I shall hot be able to complete the report until I have the re mainder of the analytical data* Just as soon as X have them, I shall be able to draw somewhat more definite conclusions as to the magnitude of the ex posure in certain locations, and X shall b able to complete my recommendations in a much more intelligent manner than I can at present* X will merely continue the report from the point at which X left off# together with certain completed tables which can not now be finished*
I believe the report as X am giving it to you has in it a certain amount of useful information* X have discussed seme point at much greater length than I would normally in a scientific paper because I think they may be useful to you* For example# my intro ductory paragraphs are much more lengthy than X would ordinarily use, and yet X think the presentation of my general point of view about the appx'oach to such problems as yours will be of interest, and perhaps of some use to you.
I should appreciate any comments, suggestions or criticisms which you may have to make on the report up to date*
I am sending you a bill for our . services to date. You will note that this does not in clude the cost of the remainder of the analyses* I should appreciate it very much if you should find it possible to remit this sum promptly* We have some bills at the laboratory which should be taken care of soon, and It will be a matter of great convenience to me to be able to do so at once*
I 3end you a bill for certain analyses as itemized on patients of Dr* Barry*s* I have
Mr* I. Dent Jenkins
believe that they were probably not your employees* I may be In error* therefore. In sending the bill to you* but I have made It out in such a way that you can hand it to Dr. Barry If It is his account. I should like to make it quits clear that if the cost of these analyses is to be charged to persons who can scarcely afford to pay for them, I should prefer that no charge be made. I leave the matter entirely to Dr. Barry's discretion since If someone Is responsible who can afford to pay, we can well make use of the money involved.
VJith kindest personal regards.
Cordially yours.
