On the logistical side, we will have a Virginia State Police officer driving us, but I've told him that we don't need him to accompany us in the building. EPA ED_001523B_00004256-00004 It's tight. The Governor is meeting with Secretary Perry at 10am, and then with the Attorney General was shifted to 11:15, so it makes it pretty difficult. The Governor would be available in the morning as well - could accommodate a breakfast meeting or anything up to a 9am meeting. We could also try to do a late meeting on the 25th, he lands at 330pm, so we could try to make a 5p or 6p meeting work, too. Appreciate anything you can do to help make this work! Copying Troy, who I discussed this with earlier today as well. I will be visiting Washington, DC with several of my colleagues in the commercial vehicle industry and hope that you could meet with us on Wednesday, April 19th. The participants in the meeting would be the President of the Truck and Engine Manufacturers Association (EMA) and executives from the major manufacturers - Cummins, Navistar, Paccar, Daimler and Volvo. Our intent is to discuss industry regulatory issues including the Phase 2 Fuel Efficiency and Greenhouse Gas regulations and the potential for a future low NOx rule. We can be flexible on the timing for a meeting on April 19th. We are hoping that you would also invite other leaders in the Agency that could contribute to the discussion.
