NAME 07 DIVISION CHANGED The operating name of the National Pigments & Chemical Division of National Lead Company has been changed to the Baroid Sales Division. The change became effective the first of this year.
ATLANTIC TO MAZE LEAD MIXING OIL Equipment for the manufacture of Lead Mixing Oil will be installed in the new linseed oil mill building now under construction at the Atlantic plant in Brooklyn. It is expected that the equipment will be in operation about April 1.
APPOINTMENTS AT AMERICAN LEAD CORP. T. C. Hoelzer, formerly manager, has been made a vice-president of the American Lead Corporation at Indianapolis. Chris. Haan, formerly assistant manager, succeeds Mr.. Hoelzer as manager
CINCINNATI SALESMAN RETIRES P. B. Sullivan, of the white-lead sales department of the Cincinnati branch, retired Dec. 30 after 44 years of service. His associates honored him at a dinner during the recent mid-winter meeting of the branch sales personnel and presented him with a wardrobe suitcase. Mr, Sullivan joined Cincinnati in 1895 as a bookkeeper and was appoint ed a salesman five years later. He spent 35 years on the road, most of the time in the Indiana territory.
LABORATORY MAN RETIRES A. G. Belden, on the staff of the Brooklyn research laboratories, retired Dec. 30. Mr. Belden, a graduate of Yale Sheffield Scientific School, joined the laboratory in 1905.
