Hi Stan,
Thank you. This committee sounds like the ideal forum. I will look for Allison's email.

Hi Patrick, sorry for the delay in getting back to you. I am happy to schedule a meeting. We could use our monthly Coal, Hardrock and Uranium Committee which meets monthly.
I am copying Allison Wickham who works with me in setting up these meetings. She can send you the dates of future meetings.
I know our members will really appreciate the opportunity to meet.

Hi Stan,
EPA Region 8 will host a series of forums to interact and dialogue with industry reps and stakeholder groups representing key sectors of the economy in the states of CO, MT, N D , SD, UT, and WY. These forums will resemble the oil and gas round table held in Denver in February.
Forum goals include fostering a better understanding among EPA personnel of industry business models and best practices in environmental protection, and providing an opportunity for industry participants to learn about EPA's regulatory processes.

Region 8 Smart Sectors is partnering with trade associations and industries that represent the engine of the Region's economy and provide significant opportunities for environmental impact. Additional sectors may be added over time.
Region 8 Special Emphasis Sectors Include:
Agriculture and food/beverage production
Mining
Outdoor Recreation/Tourism
May I please ask three things from you:
1. Name of the staff in your office with whom we should coordinate your organization's participation in these events.
2. A time in the coming months when your membership is gathered and could engage in a dialogue with the EPA.
3. Your suggestions for participants at these events Thanks, Patrick Davis Environmental Protection Agency Senior Advisor to the Regional Administrator for Public Engagement 1595 Wynkoop Street Denver, CO 80202 303-312-6855 (direct)
