Ha Thomas - Toledo This meeting vas held to bring together the various ideas concerning the best method to control dust containing asbestos at the Berlin plant. Two men from J-M were present who have been responsible for their dust control program. The meeting was quite candid and the men were understandably critical of the inadequate ventilation throughout the planta They pointed out many areas which needed change and with great candidness suggested the change they would install. Engineering from Toledo described their approach and what they had planned. I indicated ay concerns were simply to lower the dust level of asbestos containing dust to be consistently below the Threshold Limit Value. I pointed out this at the present time is 5 million particles per cubic foot.
