Many of the ingredients in these compounds are listed under an appropriate regulation in 21CFR, or are prior sanctioned for such use. Although for some ingredients the FDA status is unknown or there is no clearance, I do not see any reason why their presence would preclude the suitability of these compounds for use as a refrigerator gasket or breaker material.
