Gentlemen: For some years we have insured a, number of gasoline refineries and wholesale dealers who have occasion to prepare Ethyl Gasoline and are aware of the special problem of handling the Ethyl fluid in this connection. We know that this ?<ork is done under your supervision and the writer is personally acquainted with Dr. Robert A. Kehoe, Director of your Medical Department. , In general we do not wish to do more than see that your regulations are carried out for the prevention of lead poisoning. However, I feel that should have for reference purposes copies of your Rules and Regulations Governing the Handling of Ethyl Fluid by Means of Tank Can Equipment and your pamphlet on The Cleaning of Ethyl Gasoline Storage Tanks. If you are willing, we should like to have three copies of the former publication end twenty copies of the latter. A fe.w of our policyholders do not themselves prepare the Ethyl Gasoline mixture but they do have occasion to store the Ethyl Gasoline which is produced from some one of your licensees. Naturally we desire to see that such gasoline dealers carry out the full require ments that you lay down for safety against lead poisoning.
