The resource mix is the percentage of generation from each fuel type (e.g., coal, gas, oil, hydro). Philadelphia is located in the RFCE (RFC East) subregion. The 2016 resource mix data is available in the eGRID2016 Data file (XLSX) file on the "SRL16" sheet, in columns DJ through DT. The actual generation (MWh) by fuel type is available in columns CT through DD. For comparison, the national values are available in the comparable columns on the "US 16" sheet. Additionally, EPA provides this information via the Power Profiler web application. Users can input their zip code and the resource mix for the appropriate eGRID subregion is presented and compared to the National resource mix. I am trying to use the data base on EPA's "egrid for RFC East" to obtain the breakdown of energy sources for Philadelphia's electricity mix from its regional grid. I opened your "Emissions & Generation Resource Integrated Database (eGRID,"), but don't know how to use it. Can you explain how to access the information I'm seeking. My deadline is this Thursday. Hope you can help. William Hengst On Aug 7, 2018, at 1:44 PM, Jones, Enesta <Jones.Enesta@epa.gov> wrote: Hi William, thanks for reaching out. What are your specific questions and hard deadline? I'm trying to access the data from your grid for RFC East so I can understand Philadelphia's or Pennsylvania's regional grid electricity mix. Can you help me access this information. Perhaps a phone number for who I can call to walk me through this. Thank you, Sierra Club v.
