This is due to the probable failure of the east Thermowell. The west one has already failed and been placed in manual. In order to control the reactor at the proper temperature, AP(1941) had to be lowered. This is AK(101) low limit temperature setpoint which normally controls a point somewhere in the bed. The value was 445 and it was lowered to 440. Some tuning was done to help with the swing that started on the outlet was selected. With the 3 outlet Al's being used for temperature control, we may be susceptible to a rainstorm now. The average bed temperature will probably come on as we lower the control setpoint or the bed temperature Al's begin to fail. Only the 3 outlet temperature Al's can shut you down on low temperature.
