A meeting of the Executive Committee of the Lead In dustries Association was held on Monday, March 5, 1934, at 2:30 P.M., at the Board Room of the National Lead Company, 111 Broadway, New York, N. Y. United States Smelting Refining & Mining Co. Inc. Mr. Clinton H. Crane occupied the chair. It was decided that before any decision could be reached on Article XI, Sections 5 and 6, that the lead smelt ers should determine how much copper comes to them in lead ore and how much copper is pric. for by them in lead ore from mines shipping less than 50 tons of by-product copper per month. It was the sense of the meeting that the Chairman should direct the Secretary of the Lead Industries Associa tion to send out a labor questionnaire, bringing the indus try's labor data up to date and thereafter bring the labor data up to date quarterly.
