(0222)-l Page 2 of 2 The pay period begins aC 12:01 a.m. Monday morning and ends aC 12:00 p.m. Sunday night. The standard work day shall be 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Personnel required to work other than these hours will be charged at the overtime rate unless other arrangements are made prior to commencing work. Employees who are called out to work at times other than their normal shift will be paid a minimum of four (4) hours. For day to day work on the job, personnel will report to the plant at the beginning of the shift and there will be no travel time charge. For work away from the plant site, travel time shall be charged from the Goldston Corporation yard, or from such location as designated by Goldston Corporation. Travel time shall be charged one way only, unless the employee works less than eight (8) hours, including travel time, in which case travel time will be charged both ways. Travel time will be overtime unless the employee works less than eight (8) hours per day including travel time. All hours worked in excess of eight (8) hours per shift, and in excess of forty (40) hours per week, are charged at the overtime rate. If the employee is required to work more than twelve (12) hours overtime lunches will be furnished and charged to the customer's account accordingly. Holidays to be observed by GOLDSTON CORPORATION will be as follows: New Years Day Memorial Day Independence Day Labor Day Thanksgiving Day Friday after Thanksgiving Day Christmas Day Floating Holiday In addition, we will include any holidays observed by customer. Employees of GOLDSTON CORPORATION required to work on holidays will be charged at the overtime rate. Oper ators, drivers, and craft personnel are listed in the section setting forth hourly rates for labor. All charges in mobilizing and demobolizing, including transportation of equipment to and from the job site, will be in addition to the rates shown. 2. Hours charged for each piece of equipment shall not be less than the hours worked by the operator or craft using the equipment. However, all equipment shall be charged a minimum of three (3) hours on each day it is required to be on the job site. Equipment with an asterisk (*) has an eight (8) hour minimum charge on the first day only. After the first day, hours charged shall be as shown above. Overtime usage shall be 0.70 times the normal hourly rate if used in excess of 40 hours per week or 173 hours per month. 3. For items listed by the day (no hourly rate shown), the daily rate is charged for the first eight (8) hour shift or any part of this shift in which the tool or piece of equipment is committed to a craft for use. One-eighth (1/8) of the daily rate shall be charged for all hours used after the first eight (8) hour shift and shall be used in all overtime calculations. 4. Equipment shall be invoiced to Owner on a weekly (once a week) basis in accordance with the hourly or daily rate. Weekly and monthly rates are achieved through a series of credits on the weekly billing. All calculations for weekly and monthly rates begin the first day the equipment arrives on the job and are based on continuous daily usage (3 hour minimum each, day). Client dictated interruptions (less than the 3 hour daily minimum) or failure to attain the weekly rate during seven (7) consecutive days causes a "break" and a restart in the billing calculations at that point. Clerk time for tracking and calculating equipment hours and credits will be billed to the Client in accordance with our standard published labor rates. 5. Equipment not owned but furnished by Contractor .(Third Party Rental) will be invoiced at cost plus five percent (5Z). See Item 11. If Contractor is required to provide fuel, oil, grease, and service for third party rented equipment, there will be an additional charge of twenty percent (20Z) to cover these expenses. Any necessary repairs or replacement of rented equipment will be charged at cost plus five percent (5Z) for handling. See Item 11. Initial reusable saw blades will be furnished at no extra charge, but necessary sharpening and replacement will be billed at Contractor's cost plus five percent (5Z). Non-reusable blades are considered a consumable and will be invoiced accordingly. See Item 11. 7. Materials and consumables (see attached list) will be charged at cost plus five percent (5Z). See Item 11. 8. For work in a salt water and/or sandy environment, add twenty percent (20Z) to all rates shown. This does not apply to in plant work. * 9. Tools classified as small tools are addressed on Page 2 of the Labor Rates. 10. There will be a minimum handling fee of Ten Dollars ($10.00) added to each outside invoice under two hundred dollars ($200.00) in lieu of the markup. CH/W-000352
