Mattheis Starting the Asbestos Data Collection Project The date to begin the study has come and passed, and we still have had only a minimal response. Before we can send out the data collection sheets to a company we need a letter stating your intentions to participate in the Asbestos Data Collection Project, and as soon as possible after that, a check. Before the contractor will begin to set up the data base, we must have some "up-front" money to start things rolling! To make it easier for those who may have already put the figure of $1,000.00 into their budget cycle, we can start the process rolling with $1,000.00 and once the total number of samples sent in exceeds 2000 we will need a supplementary payment of a size to be determined. Of course, the more people that participate, the smaller the total sum required of each participant. We must either get things moving this fall, or call things off, so get your commitment letter in, and we will get the data sheets out to you.
