Dear Bob,
Please don't worry about my having sent a communication to the Pennsylvania Department of Health as Chief Editor of the Archives of Environmental Health. I have a keen sense of public relations so far as the AMA is concerned and try never to do anything which could reflect on organized medicine, ity letter to Mr. Sussman was typed on Woman's Medical College stationery; I wrote as a citizen of Pennsylvania. I am sure the committee in Harrisburg will take into consideration the differences in cur spheres of activity and will weigh our opinions accordingly.
L e t 's put this episode behind us and I 'll remember 'that, if I 'm to maintain our friendship, I'll have to stay away from lead in any form.
With kind regards,
Cordially,
HHBtcrt
