We are very disappointed at the very scarce press cover age we have received on our big victory in the lead case, but I assume you have seen something about it in your papers.
The opinions are too lengthy to xerox and I have been waiting to get a printed copy of the opinion before I wrote you. I am now enclosing the opinion, along with a summary which our lawyers have prepared and which I think is a fair summary. ,
I think you will be absolutely fascinated to read through the opinion, particularly the majority opinion. It is very seldom you get any appellate judges who will take this much time to plow through the record and refuses simply to take a lower court's word for something.
I have little doubt myself but what the EPA will appeal from here, but it surely is good to finally be ahead of them in this ball game.
