Heckman, SPI General Counsel, to Dr. Karl A. Hochschwender, Chairman of the Committee, the next meeting of the FDCPMC will be held at the Shoreham Hotel, 2500 Calvert Street, N.W., Washington, D.C. 20008 on Thursday, May 31, 1973, beginning promptly at 9:00 a.m. The business session will again take place in the Palladian Room. We are indeed pleased to remind you that Mr. Heckman has received a favorable response from Mr. Peter Barton Hutt, Assistant General Counsel of the Food, Drugs and Product Safety Division of the U. S. Department of Health, Education and Welfare, Food and Drug Administration, who will be our principal speaker immediately following luncheon. In his communication of March 23rd to Dr. Hochschwender, with copies to each of you, Mr. Heckman urged that members of the Committee prepare questions which they would like to see directed to Mr, Hutt during the question-and-answer period, sending these questions in advance to Mr. Heckman at Keller and Heckman, 1150 - 17th Street, N.W., Suite 1000, Washington, D.C. 20036. It would be greatly appreciated if each member of the Comnittee would send written questions to Mr. Heckman, if for no other reason than to get the question-and-answer period rolling in an organized and interesting manner. The attached agenda for the meeting, as you will note, is quite lengthy and there are a number of important topics to be discussed. Without a doubt, the business session will run well after lunch. It is most important that each of you review the agenda carefully and if your name appears on it as delivering a formal report, please bring written reports to the meeting in order to ease the Secretary's preparation of the usual voluminous minutes. We have, of course, arranged for a block of sleeping room accommodations at The Shoreham for the evening of Wednesday, May 30, and should you desire to stay there, please contact Miss Ruth Jackson, Head of Reservations.
