Laboratory, University of Cincinnati Medical School, Cincinnati., . Ohio. Dear Dr. Kehoe: I would appreciate so much having your opinion as to the levels of lead in spinal fluid and blood as determined by the spectroscopic method. I am interested in knowing what you regard as normal and the values above normal which would indicate that there is an excessive amount of lead in these fluids which we are obtaining in children with clinical and roentgenological evidences of lead poisoning. Very sincerely yours. Kenneth D. Blaekfan, M.D
