The consultation on the broad PFAS restriction proposal (Annex XV restriction report) was launched on March 22nd and ran for 6 months until September 25th 2023. Unfortunately, after the September 25th deadline, ECHA will not consider any comments submitted, nor any additional information related to comments submitted during consultation, unless specifically requested by the Committees. If this is the case, we will contact your organisation and let you know which information is of the interest to the Committees and how to submit it. Dear The Vector Foiltec GmbH is using ETFE foils for roof and faade cladding systems. We had send our comments to the consultation about restriction of PFAS with the reference number: 9e6556a1-5ff9-4644-b518b058eae68d9b According to a building project in New Zealand we were requested to submit a report for the leaching of any possible small chain PFAS from our ETFE-foils. It shows, that no short chain PFAS could be found in the leachate after 42 hours within the limits of detectability.
