HHTMTCALS USED IN PVC PROCESS AREAS
Thank you for your lists with dates for Bldgs. 1, 15, 111 and 121. X am attach-* ing a first pass at the kind of correlation we will be wanting to get out of the
Tabershaw computerized "in depth data base" on all of our employees.
You will note Tom Linak's and my memories of uses in other buildings on 15 of the
more or less volatile volume products used at Louisville. Could you supply me with your more accurate type records of toxic chemicals used in all of your other
process buildings. Bill Wilcox is requesting the job history of all of your
process area exposed people, including the building assignments where applicable.
Ultimately this data will be computerized by Tabershaw for correlation with our
medical test records.

Also, for each compound we would like your judgment indication of level of' potential employee exposure (substantial, moderate, little). In cases such as vinyl chloride and other "substantial" chemicals, we would also, like a judgment rating by past work practices as to "high, medium, or low" with the approximate year of change in each building; e.g. John remembers many solid charges in Building 111 during the EF resin learning period.
Thanks for your fine cooperation on this second go-around. I'm sure that Taber shaw will want more later, but our timely response should be appreciated by all, including getting at answers such as VCM or VCM plus others.
Attached you will also find a copy of the estimated employee distribution in the 1966 University of Michigan study and our guess on the TCA study last June. You will also find Bill Wilcox's tabulation including some escalation to include all employees at our VCM and PVC plants which were reported to TCA in recent months. You will note considerable differences in judgment may be involved, and we will have to eventually rationalize these differences, before our company-wide, in depth stexdy can be correlated.
