Moreover, the entries from these books provide only a sketchy record of Dr. Ardis' laboratory work. Similarly^ the laboratory book beginning with page 101251, iit4d^ll^2/54, lists 3 or fewer days worked in | 11/54, 1/55, 3/55, 5/55, 6/55, 9/55, 11/55, 2/56, 3/56, 4/5&r'and no entries at all for experimental work in 4/55* 7/55, 8/551.0/55, 1/56, and May through November, 1956; the entries for' 12/56-f efa sec. are merely notations of samples sent for testing. Therefore OLI 6553 there is no record of experimental work done by Dr. Ardis from May, 1956 through 1959. Clearly, then, the records for Dr. Ardis' experimental work have not been fully discovered, if extant. And there is no record of the experiments supervised by Dr. Ardis after 1959, except the testimony of Dr. Churchill. The records which are available, in part summarized below, provide evidence of a wide variety of chemicals used by Dr. Ardis; and it is submitted by claimant that, with the other testimony and the stipulated facts of Dr. Ardis' lab experience, these records provide the basis for an inference of continued usage of a wide variety of chemicals identical with and similar to those previously used by Dr. Ardis and Mr. Ozolins, particularly with respect to common laboratory solvents.
