On Wednesday, February 2rd, 1952, M r . M f c r was taken to the South Side Hospi tal. Examination was made by Doctor Evans, who was unable to determine the cause of his illness. ' It was reported to me from the service station that his sickness was due to lead poisoning. Mr. Morris and ny self Went to the South Side Hospital to see Mr. to de termine if his ailment was due to handling of Ethyl Gasoline. At that time, from the information gathered and his condition, we were lead to believe that something be sides lead poisoning was his trouble. He was taken home on . S aturday, February 12, supposedly better, but I understand that since that time he has been returned to the hospital. I had Doctor C. L. Curli, whom I knot/ very well, stop in and examine M r . a n d talk to his doctor to determine whether or not M r . 4 H ^ B R i a d lead poisoning. Doctor C urll gave me a call on the teSphone and said he did not think that M r . trouble was from lead poisoning, although a small amount o l ^ e a d was found upon examination. I today talked with father and he advises me they are going to operate on ^ M H o n T h u r sday that Doctor Evans has pronounced the case 'Lead Colic' and they are operating to determine just what is the matter.
