I remember meeting you at the Thursday night Italian dinner with Scott and family, I sat next to your fiance. That just slipped my mind temporarily when I was typing that email. Best, Doug From: Doug Deason Sent: Monday, May 15, 2017 12:20 PM To: jackson.ryan@epa.gov Cc: Doug Deason <doug@deasoncap.com> Subject: FW: Red Team Hi Ryan, I enjoyed meeting via phone yesterday. Please see the email below. Professor Fred Chang is the ex-director of R&D for the NSA and is currently the Executive Director of the Darwin Deason Institute for Cyber Security at the Engineering School at SMU. I am the Chairman of the Board of the Institute and meet with Fred regularly. He was recently inducted into the National Academy of Science and was quite proud of the fact that members of the Academy did not march in the Earth Day protests against the President's environmental agenda. I mentioned to him in confidence that Scott is considering a Red Team/Blue Team panel to debate the merits of manmade global warming and the possibility that man could do anything about it if we tried. Fred loves the idea and suggested that he would be happy to help with recruitment inside the Academy if you would like. Fred is in DC at least once a month. He still has full security clearance and meets with the NSA and testifies in front of Congressional committees on a regular basis. Whne you are ready to populate the panel, please let me know if you would like his assistance, I will also source some names from him for the Science Advisory Committee and subcommittees.
