First of all, we would like to apologise for not replying to you by 21 November 2022. As regards the processing of point 2) of your PAD application, specifically as concerns access to the application dossier on Perfluoro{acetic acid, 2-[(5-methoxy-1,3-dioxolan-4-yl)oxy]}, ammonium salt for which EFSA issued a scientific opinion (EFSA-Q-2013-00363), we regret to inform you that more time is needed to conclude our assessment on the access to the non-confidential version of this dossier. Please rest assured that your PAD application is being processed as quickly as possible in accordance with the provisions of the PAD Regulation. However, additional time is still needed to finalise the assessment of the requested documents, since consultations with the third-party document owner, in accordance with Article 4(4) of the PAD Regulation, are still ongoing. Therefore, we would like to seek your agreement pursuant to Article 6(3) of the PAD Regulation, as implemented by Article 4(7) and 4(8) of Decision of the Management Board laying down the practical arrangements for implementing Regulation (EC) No 1049/2001 and Article 6 and 7 of Regulation (EC) No 1367/2006, to come back to you by 19 December 2022 at the latest. Should we finalise the steps prior to this date, we will reply to you earlier than the estimated deadline.
