Thanks. Its great that you are all staying for this. Lets catch up next week (before I meet again with Geert in DC next Friday) as where you end up may help inform an update to our rolling workplan with ECHA. Nancy B. Hi Nancy, This is the draft agenda (see below) for Thursday's meeting with ECHA that Kristan, Cory and I have scheduled with Mike, Panos and others. Please let me know if you'd like more details or an update on any of these topics. FYI, I just wanted to emphasize that our goals are to focus on mechanisms for data and potentially tool sharing specific to IUCLID - primarily in the afternoon. Thank you, Panos! And yes, I completely understand. Let's fix the day as we will be there on Thursday (Oct 12). I am also including another colleague, Kristan Markey, who will also be attending the APCRA workshop. Just as an FYI, Cory, Kristan and myself are comfortable/fluent with the technical details as we all have technical training in various aspects of data and chem-informatics. Sierra Club v. Hi Daniel, Apologies for the late response. This period is very busy because in addition to our workshop we also have another one on 12 Oct 2017. Still I managed to find 2 hours (14:00 - 16:00) to begin with and we will hopefully find more time (maybe with other colleagues) during the day. I also copy Francois for IUCLID related aspects. Shall we perhaps fix the day (12 Oct 2017) and discuss further about the agenda in the coming days? Hi Mike and Panos, It was a pleasure meeting and seeing you guys last week in Canada. I really enjoyed the ECHA presentations and it really helped us solidify some of our thoughts regarding the use of IUCLID - e.g., in a forward looking prospective manner. Per the conversation on the last day regarding meeting you and/or a related team on IUCLID specific implementations, Cory and I are planning to be at the face-to-face APCRA meeting in Helsinki and we'd like to extend our scheduled trip beyond the workshop dates to take advantage of the opportunity to meet with you guys, perhaps include NCCT folks if possible. As such, would one day (after the workshop, Thursday October 12, 2017) suffice? Or would you like us to stay longer (i.e., through Friday, October 13, 2017)? We would need to adjust out international travel plans ASAP to make this happen. Personally, some of the information I would like to discuss with both of you centers around: 1) Potential sharing of IUCLID data (non-CBI REACH dossiers) a. What would we need to do to begin the process on both sides? 2) Potential sharing of lUCLID-based tools a. Understanding the compliance check process, developed tools available? b. Tools that are currently being developed or planned (i.e., chemical structure-based, as well as text analytics, data mining) c. Internal tools to ECHA that we might collaborate or be able to share with us? Sierra Club v. EPA 18cv3472 NDCA Tier 12 ED 002061 00050239-00003 I apologize as this is general and a "wish list" at the moment....but I do think that a strong component of our adoption of IUCLID is really tied into the data mining aspects as well as the data storage - esp. as to how we can better serve our respective organizations. Also, if there are specific items/justifications you require from us to make this happen on your side, please let me know. Cheers and thanks, Dan Daniel T.
