(Note:
This information (particularly the narrative and tables
identifying customers) should not be shared with customers "as Is".
The intent of providing this information is hopefully to satisfy a
need by field sales for this kind of information but more importantly^
to have field sales "armed" with knowledge about the quality their
customers have been receiving and about the trends and changes in
plant operations affecting product quality before going in to the
customer. Hopefully field sales will be able to use the information
in proactive dialogue/discussion versus our historical reactive mode.
This narrative is not intended to be an exhaustive discussion or
analysis of the data.
If more detailed information is needed
regarding the discussion, the data or how certain customers may have
been impacted, we want marketing personnel to call and talk to
whomever at the OKC Plant can best answer their questions. In my
view, this is the real value of providing this information------not
merely having SPC charts to flash on the customer.
If anyone would like to discuss this in more detail, please give me a call. Please keep in mind that manpower limitations preclude expanding the parameters analyzed or customizing charts for specific, customers.
